A. Proper Method to Test and Apply Your Foundation
1. Test your foundation on the bridge of the nose or the jawline. You do not want to test foundation on your hand because it is not the same color.
2. Apply foundation with short upward strokes. Do not apply foundation past the jawline. You should blend the foundation with powder at the jawline to prevent any demarcation line.

B. Proper Shade Selection
When choosing shades for yourself, you want to consider 5 things:
1. Your hair color
2. Your complexion
3. Your eye color
4. The color of your attire
