1) Does your school accept financial aid?
Financial aid is accepted at the Washington DC school only.
The remainder of colleges in the Dudley Beauty School System are not Title IV institutions.
While we do not accept any federal grants or federally funded student
loans, we do offer a convenient, interest-free payment plan
for all programs of study.
2) Is your school accredited?
Yes, the Charlotte, Kernersville and Washington schools are accredited through NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission
of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences).
3) How much is your tuition?
Contact the school you are interested in attending for information regarding tuition.
3) How long does it take to complete your programs?
The number of hours required will vary from state to state, depending upon the laws governing the cosmetology board in each state. The following information is intended as a general rule only. For the exact number of hours required, please contact the individual school(s).

4) How many
hours does it take to complete your program?
Cosmetology = 1500 hours
Manicuring = 300 hours
Esthetics = 750 hours
Managers Training = 500 hours
Cosmetology Instructor Training = 500-800 hours
Manicuring Instructor Training = 320-625 hours
Esthetics Instructor Training = 650-750 hours
5) How often
do classes begin?
Contact the school you are interested in attending for the next enrollment date.
6) How do I
enroll?
Complete an enrollment application for the school of your choice
and fax or mail it to the appropriate campus with your registration fee. The $100 registration fee
must be included with your enrollment application for it to be considered. Copies of the
following documents must accompany your enrollment application:
birth certificate and/or drivers license or state ID, social security card, and
high school diploma, school transcript or GED.
7) What are
the educational requirements for attending your school?
A high school diploma or a GED. If you have not attained a high
school diploma or a GED, we require a national placement exam
that verifies you have 10th grade education proficiencies.
8) What type
of certificate or degree will I receive upon graduation?
You will receive a diploma, which is recognized
by all governing boards of cosmetology. However, you will still be required to pass the cosmetology state board exam before you will be licensed. All students have an option to be tested in their state of permanent residence or the state where the training was provided.
9) Do you have
a work study program at your school to help pay my tuition?
We do not have a work study program.
10) Do I have
to be a cosmetologist to attend your schools?
No. However, we do have advanced training for the licensed cosmetologist.
