The school only admits
students beyond the age of compulsory school attendance, who have a high
school diploma or GED equivalent. A student who is beyond the age of
compulsory education and lacks a high school diploma or its equivalent
can be admitted under the school's ability-to-benefit policy. THE DUDLEY
BEAUTY SCHOOL SYSTEM admits students only after the student
passes a nationally recognized aptitude test.
COSMETOLOGY, NAIL TECHNOLOGY AND ESTHETICS COURSES
Prior to beginning classes, each student must provide a copy of
his/her high school diploma, school transcript, GED equivalent,
certification of the veteran/participant/military/eligible student (if
applicable), social security card, photo ID and birth certificate.
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE
Prior to beginning classes, each student must provide a copy of
his/her high school diploma, school transcript or GED equivalent,
cosmetology license and photo ID.
CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS TRAINING
Credit for previous training will be given only if a
certified transcript from a licensed Cosmetology school
is presented. Credit for out-of-state training must be presented to
the School with the understanding that prior to acceptance of these
credits, students must pass a test in practical and theoretical
performance. Upon successful completion of this test, all coursework
will be shortened accordingly and all records will reflect the hours
of credit qualified by students' test scores. Adjustments in tuition
for previous credit hours accepted by the School will be made.
ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST
- Return your application and registration fee to the admissions
office of the campus of your choice (either by mail or hand delivery).
- Payment Methods Accepted: Certified checks or money orders made
payable to : Dudley Beauty School System (do not send cash), Visa,
MasterCard and other major credit cards.
- Submit a copy of your high school diploma, school transcript, GED
or equivalent and a photo ID.
- Submit 3 letters of recommendation.
- All documentation must be in our
administrative office two (2) weeks prior to orientation date.
- Telephone the Admissions Office of the campus of your choice to
confirm all documents and payments have been received.
